Who this pack is for

Fresh-food carriers live with five recurring failures — each one capable of taking down a load, a contract, or a year of profit.

  • A reefer unit fails mid-route and you write off the entire load. One incident: $10K–$50K straight off the bottom line.
  • A receiver disputes the temperature on arrival and you have no defense — the load is rejected and the truck comes back full.
  • A driver nods off at 4 AM on the return leg after the third stop. The 3 AM shift is structural, not occasional.
  • Commercial auto, cargo, and workers' comp premiums climb every renewal — and the carrier is "encouraging" cold-chain telematics data to keep you.
  • FSMA 204 traceability becomes mandatory in January 2026 — without continuous temperature records, your supermarket and food-shipper contracts walk.

Every component in this pack maps to one of those five.

IndustryRegional refrigerated food & perishable delivery
Fleet size8–25 reefer vans or 5–10 ton refrigerated box trucks
Typical customersRegional supermarkets, restaurant central kitchens, fresh-food e-commerce, B2B food distribution, dairy / bakery / seafood
Defining realityDawn shift is the structural peak (3 AM – 11 AM). FSMA 204 takes effect January 2026 — temperature traceability becomes mandatory.

What's in the pack

The 3-channel AI dashcam

Anchor SKU · C6 Lite

One device covers road, cabin, and cargo from a single windshield mount. Built-in eMMC storage, parked-impact capture, cloud connectivity, and native vehicle-data reading (replaces a separate GPS tracker). 15-minute single-cable install.

#ComponentHardwarePlatform
1 3-channel AI dashcam (C6 Lite 3.0 — volume-market AI dashcam covering road, cabin/driver, and cargo views from a single device. Built-in eMMC storage, cloud connectivity, native CAN-ready, parked-impact capture mode. Single-cable 15-minute install.)
2 Dedicated driver-monitoring camera (C29N — A-pillar mounted driver monitoring system with 940nm infrared, 0 Lux night-vision, deep-learning fatigue detection. The 3 AM shift is structural — this is the camera that doesn't fail in the dark.)
3 In-cargo temperature sensor (Temperature/humidity probe connected via the dashcam's sensor gateway. Streams continuous temperature data into the cloud platform alongside video; auto-generates FSMA 204 traceability records.)
4 Cargo door sensor (Magnetic open/close sensor on cargo door, integrated via sensor gateway. Auto-triggers the cargo camera channel for high-rate capture on door events.)
5 Pro cloud platform (Pro tier AI event review, driver scorecards, temperature curves, per-load delivery certificates (PDF + QR), FSMA 204 audit-ready compliance reports.)
6 Vehicle data activation (CAN license — One-time software activation enabling OBD-II / J1939 / FMS reading. The camera becomes your GPS tracker.)

Why each capability is essential

Three-channel video coverageYou cannot defend a rejected load without all three views: road for driving discipline, cabin for driver awareness, cargo for loading / unloading / in-transit. A two-channel dashcam loses cargo — which is exactly where disputes are.
Dedicated driver monitoringA standard windshield-mounted cabin camera fails in dawn-shift conditions — low light, headlamps, cold-weather hats, sunglasses. A-pillar 940nm infrared sees through them all. The 3 AM shift is structural for fresh food, so this is survival-grade, not nice-to-have.
In-cargo temperature sensorFSMA 204 becomes enforceable January 2026. Without continuous temperature recording, your contracts with FSMA-listed product shippers are at risk. Standalone temperature loggers record temperature only — they don't sync to video, GPS, or door events. A unified four-way evidence package can only come from one system.
Cargo door sensorThe first question a rejected-load buyer asks is "when did the door open and for how long?" Without a door sensor, you're guessing. With one, you answer to the second — and the cargo camera auto-captures the moment.
Pro cloud platformLive tracking alone won't generate FSMA audit reports, per-load delivery certificates, or driver scorecards. Pro is the lowest tier that produces customer-facing compliance deliverables.
Vehicle data activationMost fresh-food SMBs already pay $25–$35/vehicle/month for a tracker. CAN license replaces it — pays for itself in three weeks.

Optional add-ons

Humidity sensorAdd when cargo includes fruit, flowers, or cut produce.
Multi-point temperatureAdd for large box trucks where front/middle/rear temperature gradient matters.
Refrigeration unit failure alarmAdd when fleet has experienced reefer failures causing total-load spoilage.
Standalone exterior AI camera
(Sentinel — Standalone exterior camera with built-in cellular, GPS, storage. 0.02 LUX color night vision. Launches June 2026.)
Add when some vehicles park overnight at highway truck stops.
SafeGPT behavioral AI upgrade
(Enterprise tier Behavioral AI, risk classification, fatigue 15 minutes pre-eye-closure.)
Add when fleet ≥ 30 vehicles and you want pre-emptive dawn-shift fatigue analytics.

Three roles. One pack.

For Your Customers

Grocers & central kitchens

  • Per-load temperature certificate (PDF + QR)
  • Door-open log to the second — no rejection arguments
  • FSMA 204 audit-ready compliance records
  • Four-way evidence: temp + door + GPS + video
For You (Owner)

Owner / dispatcher

  • 5 AM WhatsApp: today's runs + last night's reefer alarms
  • Auto-monthly: insurance + FSMA + reconciliation PDFs
  • Cancel existing tracker — save $4,500–$6,300/year on 15 trucks
  • FSMA 204 future-proof — keep supermarket contracts
For Your Drivers

Dawn-shift drivers

  • Real fatigue alerts before eyes close — at 3 AM
  • Reefer failure pushed to dashboard — not the driver's fault
  • Cargo damage / "wrong temp" disputes auto-exonerated
  • Bonus tied to scorecard — drive clean, get paid

The three-line summary

  1. One spoiled refrigerated load is $10K–$50K. One dawn-shift rollover is $200K+. FSMA 204 lands January 2026 — without temperature traceability, your supermarket contracts are gone.
  2. The Fresh Food Pack ships pre-configured: three-channel dashcam, dedicated driver-monitoring camera, in-cargo temperature and door sensors, cloud platform with FSMA auto-reports, tracker replacement. Request a quote — payback typically in the first week of operation.
  3. One contract, three problems solved — delivered as a single contract you can deploy this week.
